Business Intelligence in SQL Server 2012: What's New? The release of SQL 2012 contained one of the largest Business Intelligence related updates since SQL 2005. Many functionality modifications were made to existing technologies and several new technologies were introduced. SSIS is now more tightly integrated with project based functionality. SSAS has a new mode called Tabular that will change the way we model data for analysis. SSRS Integrated mode has been updated to work better with SharePoint and there is a new reporting tool available. Hear about these changes and more! In this short session, you can learn how changes to SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS will affect YOU as a BI developer or consumer. Also, stick around for a short preview of a new interactive reporting tool called Power View (previously Project Crescent).
